MB ChB DRCOG MRCGP. I qualified as a doctor from Bristol University in 1987 and started as a Partner at Leckhampton in 1992. I live locally with my husband and 2 children. Over the years I have developed an interest in all aspects of women’s health including family planning. I am one of the trainers for junior doctors (Registrars) so will sometimes have someone sitting in with me during the consultation, or be observing whilst the Registrar does the consultation.
MB CHB MRCGP DRCOG. I qualified from Bristol University in 1987 and have been with the practice since 1993. I enjoy all aspects of general practice but with a particular interest in ear, nose and throat problems, and care of the elderly.
I have been a trainer for GP Registrars since 1997 and find the educational aspect of General Practice & the depth of talent in our newly trained doctors stimulating & refreshing.
I have recently taken up a new role as GP Provider Lead for Cheltenham, which involves being on various boards to ensure that the numerous changes in the NHS are for the Benefit of our patients and for Primary Care as a whole.
Whilst this is an important role it unfortunately means I am less available for face to face appointments at the surgery and have reluctantly had to reduce my list size.
Away from the surgery, I am a Crowd Doctor at Cheltenham Racecourse and occasionally at Cheltenham Town Football Club and Gloucester Rugby, this fits in with my love of sport: I enjoy golf & skiing and watching football & rugby. I am married with 2 grown up children & a Border Terrier.
