Telephone Advice

telephoneThe doctors usually return telephone calls between 11 and 12 at the end of morning surgery. The receptionists have been asked not to interrupt the doctors during their surgeries except in emergencies.

The doctors also have bookable telephone slots if you require a consultation but do not need to see the doctor in person.

If you wish to speak to your doctor on the telephone, please ask the receptionist to book you a call, which may at a different time of day, depending on the doctor’s own arrangements.

The doctor will then ring you back as close to that time as possible. Urgent advice at other times can be obtained from the duty doctor on call.

You can also ask receptionists to book a time for one of our practice nurses to call you back if you want some advice on their specialist areas, for example child immunisations.
