10 ways to get the best from your GP
We now have a new clinical system and sadly it has not been possible to transfer patients' online booking permissions from our previous system to our new one. If you would like to continue to book appointments or order prescriptions online please ask at reception to be re-registered, and please bring some photographic ID (e.g. passport, driving licence or bus pass) to help our receptionists process your application more quickly.
We apologise for any inconvenience.
To make an appointment: You can make an appointment by telephoning the surgery on 01242 539080, by coming into the surgery in person, or by booking online.
You may have an appointment with the doctor or the phlebotomist of your choice, provided that they are available.
Short urgent appointments are always available for the same day but we cannot guarantee that you will always be able to see your own doctor. If you require an urgent appointment on the same day, please telephone the surgery first, rather than coming down in person, since all our urgent requests are dealt with intially by a telephone consultation.
If you request an urgent appointment, visit or telephone call, you will be phoned back by the triage doctor. He or she will discuss with you your health concerns, and will assess how your needs can best be dealt with: this may be either further advice, a prescription, an appointment at the surgery or a home visit.
Missed Appointments/Cancelling Appointments.
If you cannot keep your booked appointment, please contact the surgery as soon as possible.
If you use Patient Access, you can cancel your appointment online, alternatively please email:
