Child Health

Appointments are sent to you for your baby and child’s routine health reviews. One of the first of these is at 8 weeks with your GP and is arranged soon after your baby is born. Child immunisations are by appointment with Practice Nurse.

Young People

Contraception

All the doctors participate in our family planning service. Confidentiality is assured whoever you are and you may telephone for advice if you have an emergency or need to discuss something. A full range of methods is offered including the supply and fitting of I.U.C.D’s (coils) and diaphragms (caps) as well as injectable and emergency contraception. We have practice nurses who are fully trained in family planning and are available for advice if you have any difficulties. Appointments can be made during ordinary surgeries.
